I doubt those who do have underwater experience would find it as exhilarating though. Not having any experience scuba diving, and not being a very good snorkeler, this was amazing. All told, we were in the water for about 30 minutes. We stopped after about 15 minutes where the guides had a small blow fish, some starfish, a sea urchin and a small spider like crab that we could touch and hold. All communication is through hand signals. There is no audio tour information, just the sound of your air bubbles leaving the helmet. It was a little difficult getting into the mini sub due to my height (6' 1") and weight, but once in, I fit fine. We were a little leery about this activity both because we'd just been refused access to an ATV tour because we were too old (this activity claims a maximum age limit of 65 in the brochure) and none of us are great swimmers, but when we called they assured us that if we were medically fit there was no problem with age.
